Aaron Donald earned the type of award every player wants — acknowledgment from his contemporaries and peers.
Wednesday morning, Donald was named to the NFL Players Association All-Pro team. He was the only Los Angeles Rams player represented on the player-voted list of stars. Donald also made the list for his play in the 2022 season.
Donald was one of two players selected as interior defensive lineman. His name appeared next to Kansas City Chief's star Chris Jones.
Here is the Players Association All-Pro team in full:
Some notable Rams players who did not make the list include Kyren Williams and Puka Nacua, who each had outstanding seasons.
Nacua broke records as a rookie receiver, and Williams became the first 1,000-yard rusher the Rams have had since Todd Gurley.
Who did make the list include San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Still, Donald remains the only Rams representative to be good enough to garner the validation of his peers.
