Cleveland Browns have two players that are at the top of their position, according to players around the NFL.
NFLPA All-Pro team has DE Myles Garrett and LG Joel Bitonio included. Garrett and Bitonio are both already Pro Bowlers, now they’ll have this honor.
Players around the NFL vote on the All-Pro teams and can not vote for themselves or a player on their team.
During the 2023 campaign, Garrett has put together his sixth straight season of at least 10 sacks. The star pass rusher has 14 sacks and four forced fumbles on the season. No player has generated pressure as much as Garrett in the NFL and no player is as heavily game-planned for. Players around the league showed they’re not ignorant of that by their vote.
Bitonio was a major piece of Cleveland’s offensive line staying afloat after losing its top three offensive tackles, as well as an injury to C Ethan Pocic. Cleveland’s left guard has now made six straight Pro Bowls and could soon add his third straight All-Pro nomination.
Las Vegas Raiders DE Maxx Crosby joined Garrett as the other edge rusher named. Both players made it over T.J. Watt and Micah Parsons.
At guard, Tyler Smith of the Dallas Cowboys was tied with Bitonio in voting, so both were named. Zack Martin was the right guard voted by the players.
These two players will be important to the success the Browns see in the playoffs. The path to that success begins on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. against the Houston Texans in the AFC Wild Card.
