The Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals are set to square off at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Week 17 of the 2023 NFL season.

This is the final home game of 2023 for Kansas City. It marks the first time these two teams have met since the AFC title game a season ago. Of course, Bengals star QB Joe Burrow is on injured reserve, but Jake Browning is leading the team in his absence and doing it well. Will Cincy keep their playoff hopes alive or will the Chiefs punch their ticket to the playoffs with a win?

Here's a quick breakdown of the inactive players for this game.

Chiefs inactive players:

  • WR Kadarius Toney
  • LT Donovan Smith
  • DT Neil Farrell Jr.
  • DE BJ Thompson
  • DL Malik Herring
  • RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire
  • CB Nic Jones

Bengals inactive players:

  • CB Jalen Davis
  • RB Chris Evans
  • OL Trey Hill
  • DL Travis Bell
  • OT D’Ante Smith

Observations:

Despite reports to the contrary, RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire is inactive due to illness.

Both of the team's practice squad elevations are game-day active players. Keaontay Ingram will make his Chiefs debut on Sunday afternoon.

CB L'Jarius Sneed is active after being considered a game-time decision.

WR Ja'Marr Chase is active for the Bengals. He's dealing with a shoulder injury, which is something to monitor throughout the game.
