It was all smiles for Nico Iamaleava and Josh Heupel after the Tennessee Vols' 35-0 win against the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Citrus Bowl.
Iamaleava had a fantastic debut for the Vols, accounting for four total touchdowns and earning Citrus Bowl MVP honors in his first career collegiate start.
After the game, Nico was asked who he models his game after and why he chose Tennessee.
The former five-star recruit noted that he likes to model his game after Joe Milton, Bryce Young, Lamar Jackson, and Josh Allen before explaining his decision to sign with Tennessee.
"I think the whole coaching staff is one of the top coaching staffs in the nation," said Nico. "They really welcomed me with open arms. I felt like I was at home every time I took a visit. I never felt no fake love…other than that, I think just the fans. I love the fans, the culture here."
After Nico's answer, Heupel interjected that he needs to show Nico some of his old film from Oklahoma, which led to a hilarious exchange.
Heupel: I'm going to have to get him to start watching my film in the offseason, too
Nico: Obviously I watch Coach Heup's old clips. You know it's kinda like black….the black and white film
