The Philadelphia Eagles may no longer be in play for the No. 1 seed after losing miserably to the Arizona Cardinals on New Year's Eve, however, they still have a shot at the NFC East.
There are only two ways the Eagles can claim the NFC East division title.
1. Eagles win + Dallas Cowboys loss or tie OR
2. Eagles tie + Cowboys loss
But what it really boils down to is the Birds winning and the Cowboys losing.
The Eagles were recently able to beat the Giants by nine points at home in Week 16. This time, they're playing at MetLife Stadium and the weatherman is calling for snow in East Rutherford, NJ.
The Cowboys will face the Washington Commanders for their regular season finale.
The good news for the Eagles is that it's a road match for Dallas.
Sure, Washington (4-12) is not a very good football team, but it helps that the Cowboys aren't a very good football team on the road.
At home this season, the Cowboys are 8-0.
And on the road, they're 3-5.
Any glimmer of hope will have to do for Eagles fans.
