The Houston Texans enter Week 18 with a chance to win the AFC South by beating the Indianapolis Colts, along with some help. If you seriously had the Texans, here, at this point in the season, then go ahead and find a way into the psychic arts; because, damn – that's impressive.
Regardless, C.J. Stroud is healthy and looked his Rookie of the Year-self in Week 17, completing 75% of his passes for more than 200-yards and a touchdown. The performance, along with Devin Singletary's 80 rushing yards, propelled the Texans to a dominant, 26-3 win over the Tennessee Titans.
The last time these two teams meant was back in Week 2 and it ended in a 31-20 Colts win, so, Houston is going to have more than plenty of motivation to make sure this game doesn't end the same way. And if they do create a different result, it should lead to a postseason berth and even an AFCS title if the Jacksonville Jaguars lose to the Tennessee Titans.
Will you be able to watch the game on TV? You should be able to, considering the fact it's on ESPN/ABC. But if for whatever reason you can't you can access, ESPN at worst, on YouTube TV and other streaming sites such as FuboTV, DAZN, Sling, and others, as well.
A season-defining game for two rookie head coaches is on the horizon
DeMeco Ryans and Shane Steichen have done tremendous work with their respective teams and both coaches are in the conversation for Coach of the Year, as a result.
It's easy to see the foundation Ryans is building and he has the key piece to keep it going for years in Stroud and Will Anderson Jr., on the defensive side of the ball.
If the Texans can make the playoffs, expect it to be the springboard for what should be a very exciting future.
