Tennessee Vols kick/punt returner Dee Williams officially declared for the 2024 NFL Draft on Wednesday evening via a message posted to Instagram.
"My path has not been easy, but through everything I want to express what a blessing it has been to play for the University of Tennessee these past two years," wrote Williams. "Playing in front of the best fan base in the country has been an incredible honor."

Williams arrived at Tennessee ahead of the 2022 season after spending time at East Central Community college.
During his two seasons with the Vols, Williams became one of the most electric returners in the nation, averaging 15.4 yards per punt return and 21.1 yards per kick return.
Williams returned two punts for touchdowns over the last two seasons, including one against Texas A&M earlier this season that gave Tennessee the spark they needed to beat the Aggies.
With Williams off to the NFL, defensive back Boo Carter and running back Cam Seldon are a couple of options that could serve in that role next fall for the Volunteers.
