Tennessee Vols starting right tackle Gerald Mincey entered the NCAA transfer portal on Thursday evening.

Mincey spent the last two seasons at Tennessee after transferring from Florida.

The former three-star recruit started seven games for the Vols in 2022. This past season, Mincey played in all 12 regular season games for Tennessee while making six starts at right tackle.

After entering the portal, Mincey took to Twitter/X.com to share a message.

"Thank you Coach (Josh) Heupel and all of the coaches and staff at Tennessee for all of the support over the last two years," wrote Mincey. "I am forever grateful."

With Mincey in the transfer portal, it mens the Vols need to find a new starting right tackle via the portal.

Tennessee is also in the market for an offensive guard in the portal.
