One of the Tennessee Vols' 2024 signees was named a top performer on day three of the All-American Bowl practices.
2024 four-star offensive lineman Bennett Warren was praised by 247Sports for his performance on Thursday at the All-American Bowl, earning some recognition as one of the day's top players.
From 247Sports: Warren owns a college-ready offensive tackle frame and has steadily gotten better throughout the week of practices, culminating with his best performance of the week during today's practice. The Tennessee signee has made leaps and bounds throughout his high school career when it comes to maintaining his base in pass protection and also flashed some encouraging redirection ability when climbing to the second level at 6-foot-7 1/2, 320-plus pounds.
Warren, 6-foot-7/324 lbs from Sugar Land, TX, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 8 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 13 player in the state of Texas. He's also rated as the No. 90 overall player in the 2024 recruiting class.
Tennessee doesn't have a lot of depth at the tackle position entering the 2024 season, which means Warren, as a true freshman, could serve in an important backup role for the Vols — making his addition even more important for UT football.
