The result wasn't what the Indianapolis Colts wanted in Week 18, as their season ended after their 23 to 19 loss to the Houston Texans.

But don't let that take away from the tremendous performance from the Colts Week 18 Player of the Week.

Jonathan Taylor:

The season finale may not have led to the Colts punching their ticket to the playoffs, but it did include an incredible performance from star RB Jonathan Taylor.

Taylor turned his 30 carries in Week 18 into 188 rushing yards and the Colts lone touchdown. It was the most dominant performance from Taylor all season, who has been battling multiple injuries. Even in Week 18, he left with an ankle injury that led to him being ruled as doubtful to return.

He seemed to not care about that ruling as he was able to return to the game and continue to put on a show. He helped the Colts march down the field before they would turn the ball over inside the 20-yard line on a 4th and 1 call where he was on the sideline.

The loss may seem that Taylor's big day was all for nothing, but this performance shows the world that Jonathan Taylor is still an elite RB in the NFL. He now has an entire offseason to get healthy and finally form a dynamic duo with Colts QB Anthony Richardson, whom he was only able to play a couple of snaps with this season.
