The Jacksonville Jaguars traded for wide receiver Calvin Ridley and have gotten to use him in their offense this season. However, it hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows like we thought it would be. The offense ended the season last year greatly. They ended it this year awfully.

Ridley hasn't had the perfect season that he maybe imagined, especially when you consider the season he had before he was suspended. However, he has been good, especially being the number two option behind Christian Kirk. But he has made the Jaguars' history, regardless of how bad the offense has been.

Here is what the Jaguars' PR team tweeted out about Ridley and his historic season for the Jaguars:

Calvin Ridley has recorded four receptions for 99 yards in today's matchup, achieving 1,000 yards this season (1,009). He is 1 of 3 Jaguars to have posted 1,000 yards receiving in their 1st season. The others are Christian Kirk in 2022 (1,108) and WR Keenan McCardell in 1996 (1,129). Ridley has recorded one touchdown in today's matchup, putting his season total to 8. He ties teammates for the most receiving touchdowns by a player in their 1st season with the Jaguars.

Ridley started the season strong. He had some bumpy games in between, but since Kirk has been out with an injury, he has certainly stepped up, especially against the Titans.

Now, the Jaguars will have a tough decision to make with Ridley after the season. He is up for an extension, and he could be franchise-tagged. And the Jaguars will likely pay Josh Allen. There are some tough decisions to be made, for sure.
