Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans will face off in the Wild Card round on Saturday. Oddsmakers have already shown who they’re rolling with.
The Browns are -2.5 point favorites to defeat the Texans, according to FanDuel Sports Book. Cleveland and Houston’s over/under is set at 43.5.
It’ll be the Browns’ second time traveling to Houston within a month since they defeated the Texans 36-22 back in Week 16. Houston won against the Colts this past weekend, then received the needed help from the Titans beating the Jaguars to get in the playoffs.
You’ll notice the spread is a lot closer than last time around. Cleveland did not have to worry about QB C.J. Stroud last time, since he was in concussion protocol and old friend Case Keenum made a start. Stroud will be a go this time around.
In Week 16, Amari Cooper set a Browns’ franchise record with 265 yards. Cooper hurt his heel in that game but has had two weeks of rest since. One would figure he is going to be a big part of this game once again.
Cleveland is the No. 5 seed and they’ll travel to play No. 4 seed Houston, despite that the Browns are still favorites to move on.
