A former Tennessee Titans first-round pick has found himself in some trouble again. Former Titans linebacker Rashaan Evans was released by the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday.

Evans was arrested Tuesday on possession of marijuana charge, according to Frisco, Texas, police department.

The Titans picked Evans with the 22nd overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He spent four years with Tennessee.

With the Titans, the linebacker totaled 317 tackles, two interceptions, and fifteen tackles for loss. He spent all of 2022 with the Atlanta Falcons.

Evans played in nine games with Dallas this year. His snap count has varied weekly, though. Most of his impact came on special teams with the Cowboys.
