The Houston Texans just got some of the best news they could ever receive, especially after a scary few weeks they have just gone through.

While they are still in the hunt for the playoffs, the Texans have played two games without their franchise quarterback, C.J. Stroud, who got a concussion against the New York Jets in Week 14; he left that game early and has been out ever since.

It was thought to be a pretty scary and serious concussion because of the fact that he had been in the protocol for over two weeks, and that doesn't happen often but it has happened.

On Thursday, it was announced that Stroud is now out of concussion protocol, which gives him a chance to play against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Stroud is undoubtedly the Rookie of the Year, no matter what side of the ball we are talking about. There was a stretch when his name was even being thrown into the MVP conversation. Now, we hope to see him back on Sunday.
