As has been the case all season long, Lamar Jackson built formidable chemistry with Mark Andrews in the Baltimore Ravens’ 38-6 win over the Detroit Lions.
Andrews did not have much of a problem in finding open space on the field against Detroit. The three-time Pro Bowler was targeted six times by Jackson in the contest, and he hauled in four catches for 63 receiving yards.
Andrews reached the end zone on two out of his four receptions on the day, including an 11-yard receiving score in the second quarter that essentially put the game away for the current AFC North leaders.
On Jackson’s part, he tallied season highs across the board against the Lions, including in passing yards (357). Andrews was quite impressed with the two-time Pro Bowler’s showing in Week 7.
"He was on the money all day," Andrews said during his postgame press conference. “Money Lamar. … Ball placement was incredible.”
The Ravens scored a touchdown on just one out of their six red zone possessions in their road victory over the Titans. Baltimore managed to bounce back in the red zone in Week 7. Overall, Jackson led the Ravens to the end zone on five out of their six total trips to this area of the field.
The Ravens will now look ahead to a road matchup against the Arizona Cardinals coming up in Week 8.
