South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer is quite the character. Love him or not, he shows plenty of passion.
After the Gamecocks' loss to Florida to drop to 2-4 on the season, Beamer showed a bit too much emotion.
According to Beamer, he broke his foot while kicking something after the frustrating loss.
Beamer did not hold back on himself when discussing the incident. He's clearly embarrassed.
“It certainly was a gut-wrenching, emotional loss. I was frustrated & kicked something I shouldn't have kicked & thought I was OK. The adrenaline of the game wore off & before anybody starts the narrative – the head football coach is frustrated & lost his poise & all that – no. I care about these kids.
I was really upset on Saturday night ‘cause I didn't do enough to help them get over the hump & win the football game. I don't think I have to have surgery, but there is a broken bone in my foot. It hurts like ‘you know what.’ I've got to show toughness & fight through it. It’s been one of those years.”

The Gamecocks fell to a disappointing 2-4 record after blowing the lead in the fourth quarter against the Gators.
Beamer will be on 'boot watch' in the coming weeks after his mishap.
