At his age, Tennessee Volunteers legend Peyton Manning is in the prime of his joking career.
Before the annual 'third Saturday in October' matchup in college football the former Vols QB had to poke some fun at the Alabama Crimson Tide.
On an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Manning had to give the Tide a hard time while handing some praise to Tennessee from 2022.
“It’s funny, I mean I can’t think of the last time Alabama’s beaten us… The series has been so one-sided since 2022." — Manning (jokingly) on the rivalry
Of course, the Vols had struggled mightily in the past decade against Alabama until recently. Manning is quite the lover of the Vols, so you know he needed to get in a final jab before he may have to wait at least year to do so after Saturday.
The Vols take on the Crimson Tide at 2:30 P.M. CST on Saturday, October, 21st on CBS.
