The Kansas City Chiefs (5-1) will face the Los Angeles Chargers (2-3) in Week 7 of the 2023 NFL season. It's the first time these two AFC West rivals have met so far this season.

The Chargers are coming off of a loss in prime time to the Dallas Cowboys on "Monday Night Football." The Chiefs have won five consecutive games and have a three-game winning streak over the Chargers dating back to the 2021 NFL season. Los Angeles could get their season back on track with a win in Kansas City.

This broadcast map looks a lot like the one that the Chiefs had back in Week 5, which was also an afternoon slate game on CBS. They're competing against only one other game, featuring the Broncos and Packers (blue), while they get a massive share of the broadcast map (red). The only difference is that instead of the East Coast, the northern portion of the country will get the NFC North/AFC West matchup.

Meanwhile, the majority of the country will see Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert square off on Sunday afternoon. As we know, Mahomes is a big fan of the afternoon games.

The Chiefs and Chargers will get the No. 1 CBS broadcast team for Sunday afternoon's game. This is the second time this season that Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson have been on the call for K.C. this season.
