Sports Illustrated's Pat Forde, a guy who probably doesn't get invited to many Vols tailgates, made his prediction for Tennessee's matchup against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Forde has Alabama winning a "low-scoring slog" in Tuscaloosa on Saturday (he has the Vols covering the -9 spread).

From SI.com: I expect Alabama to win, but I expect it to be a low-scoring slog between two teams with good defenses and inconsistent quarterbacks. Something along the lines of the Crimson Tide's 19-14 win in Tuscaloosa over the Volunteers in 2015. Alabama needs to eke out some rushing yards, because it has failed to protect Milroe and Tennessee can get after the quarterback—the Tide has allowed the most sacks in the SEC (31) and the Vols have recorded the third-most sacks (24).

It feels like most folks expect the game to go similarly. But while it seems like most analysts are picking Alabama to win, not many seem to think it'll be a blowout. Which means no one should be surprised if the Vols manage to pull the upset on Saturday afternoon in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
