The Buffalo Bills found a way to win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Admittedly, the first half was far more exciting from an offense perspective as the team looked red-hot and Allen was finding receivers left and right.
One of the most impactful moments of the game was when Allen found his rookie TE Dalton Kincaid for his first NFL touchdown, a moment that Kincaid and the Bills Mafia won't soon forget.
Immediately following the contest, Allen spoke on a panel with Bills legend Ryan Fitzpatrick, and that's where the magic happened. The devout fanbase has some weird obsession with seeing Fitzpatrick shirtless and requested very loudly that he remove his shirt. Allen, sitting right next to him, was all smiles as he happily helped Fitzpatrick give the fanbase what they wanted.
When the team wins, and when Allen looks good, it's these moments that make all the difference. Now, there are still some issues to address on offense and this was yet another week in which the opposing team had the ball late in the game with a chance to win it. Luckily, Buffalo's defense found a way and the Hail Mary attempt from Baker Mayfield fell short.
In the contest, Allen is now tied for second in NFL history among all QBs in terms of rushing touchdowns.
What's more, he had an impressive stat line to boot. One tipped interception doesn't take away a solid day from the franchise QB as he finished the contest going 31 for 40 with 324 yards with two touchdowns in the air and one on the ground.
This is exactly what the team needed. There's still plenty of work to do, but it was fun seeing the team shine under the bright lights of 'Thursday Night Football.'
Bills’ Dalton Kincaid’s first TD celebration was one for the history books
The Buffalo Bills TE found the endzone for the first time in his career. What he did next is sure to bring a smile to the faces of the Bills Mafia.
