The Buffalo Bills snuck out of their own stadium with a last-second victory over the New York Giants. Allen didn't have his best day as a professional but he got the job done. The superstar QB finished his day with two touchdowns and an interception.

Immediately after the contest, it was reported that Allen needed to get X-rays but that ultimately everything was going to be okay. After the contest, head coach Sean McDermott shared the same sentiment about their superstar QB.

However, a recent development may mean that his injury is worse than originally feared. While Allen was allegedly alright, McDermott provided a new update on their QB that gives fans a reason to be concerned.

Matthew Bove reported that McDermott is considering Allen "day to day" and that he may in fact be at risk of missing their next game. Initially, McDermott and the team seemed to brush off the X-rays and the Allen injury as nothing more than just a few bumps and bruises.

During the offseason I wrote about how this team will live and die by Josh Allen, that at the end of the day, he's arguably the most important piece to this team and their success revolves around him being on the field.

A rollercoaster of emotions over the past 24 hours as it went from Allen needing X-rays, to Allen being okay, to now Allen being considered "day to day" with an injury. With this being so early in the week, hopefully, he can get some rest and be back on the field in no time.

If Allen isn't able to go, Ken Dorsey will need to get Kyle Allen up to speed with the gameplan, and quick. While the victory was important, the team needs to find a way to stack those in bunches with the Miami Dolphins leading the division.

At the end of the day, all we want is for Josh Allen to be okay.
