Lamar Jackson is on the doorstep of reaching yet another impressive feat with the Baltimore Ravens.

The Indianapolis Colts and the Cleveland Browns did not have much of an answer for Jackson on the ground over the past two weeks. Jackson tallied 101 rushing yards and two touchdown runs in Baltimore’s Week 2 home contest against Indianapolis. The two-time Pro Bowler then orchestrated an encore showing in the Ravens’ road win over Cleveland, tallying two rushing scores.

If Jackson can score a pair of rushing touchdowns in Week 5, the versatile quarterback would then once again enter the record books.

As noted by NFL Communications, Jackson is in need of two touchdown runs in Baltimore’s upcoming road matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers to become the first quarterback in the Super Bowl era to string together three consecutive games with multiple rushing scores.

Jackson could very well be in line for another potent outing on the ground this season. He is set to square off with a Steelers defense that has notched a lowly 148.5 rushing yards allowed per game average this year.

In the big picture, the Ravens are eyeing a statement win over Pittsburgh in Week 5 to both move to a 4-1 record for the first time since the 2021 season and maintain their first place standing atop the AFC North.
