The Philadelphia Eagles are 2-0 for the preseason so far after beating the New England Patriots, 14-13, on Thursday night.

Once again, a handful of key Eagles players did not dress for the game, including offensive lineman Mekhi Becton.

That's a clear sign that Becton has won the starting right guard job.

Eagles Biggest Winners

DB Avonte Maddox

While lined up at safety, Avonte Maddox intercepted Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett's endzone pass and ran it back for 47 yards.

Maddox, who has been prone to injuries, has cross-trained at multiple positions this offseason with hopes of making a roster spot.

This interception just helped his case.

CB Kelee Ringo

Kelee Ringo continues to keep the battle for CB2 alive

Once again, Ringo looked smooth in coverage and comfortable.

He also did a good job of forcing receivers out of bounds on verticle routes.

LB Nolan Smith

Nolan Smith has now logged a sack in both preseason games.

Smith might not get many starting opportunities behind Josh Sweat, but he enters Year 2 looking like a quality depth piece that won't get buried this year.

Eagles Biggest Losers

DB James Bradberry

James Bradberry has now played in both preseason games, which means the Eagles are not very high on him.

And it looks like he will be playing in the final preseason game too after tonight.

QB Kenny Pickett

Kenny Pickett still looks scared in the pocket and holds onto the ball way too long.

Meanwhile, Tanner McKee had another solid showing and is looking more and more like he should be the Eagles' backup quarterback over Pickett.

RB Ainias Smith

Rookie running back Ainias Smith may have hauled in the two-point conversion to give the Eagles the lead at the end of the game, but he's still far from consistent and did not redeem himself with this one beautiful play.

The Eagles have one more preseason game left on Aug. 24 against the Minnesota Vikings.
