The NFL offseason has been a bit crazy. For the Las Vegas Raiders, it hasn't been too wild. The rumors of Davante Adams, the best wide receiver in the league, wanting out of Las Vegas are finally gone. Or, are they?

Last season, while Josh McDaniels was still the head coach, there were so many rumors that Adams wanted out. And, to be fair, he was obviously not happy. But when Antonio Pierce came on as interim head coach, everything changed. He was as happy as he had been in silver and black.

Pierce changed the entire locker room dynamic, and instantly won the players over. The players seem happy and more confident than ever that they can win. And, that's a very good thing. You want to keep your best players, Davante Adams and Maxx Crosby, as happy as possible. People want to play for Pierce.

Then, the Netflix docuseries Receiver came out. It showcased Davante Adams and his daily life during the last season. And, he was mic'd up during some of his most frustrating moments, like when Jimmy Garoppolo was constantly throwing him hospital balls. And, there were a few other things that were in the show, too.

But, that came at a time of vulnerability for Adams. Since it has come out, for some reason, the trade talks have continued, even though nothing is going to happen – any Raiders media or fan knew that.

But, just to be safe, Adams' two agents put out a statement clearing things up.

“This is baseless, unfounded speculation and Davante is expected to be with the Raiders as there has been absolutely no trade talk – period.”

It would make no sense to trade him right now. The Raiders think that with this roster, they can make the playoffs. However, if there will be one thing to hold them back, it is easily the quarterback position. So, why would they take the quarterback's best weapon away?

The talks can now officially be put to rest.
