Former Raiders QB Derek Carr shares funny memories of Antonio Brown during Hard Knocks offseason

There are a lot of "ifs" in NFL history – things that, if they went the way they were supposed to, would have been different. The one I often think about it what would have happened if the Las Vegas Raiders had Antonio Brown for the full season, rather than just the two weeks they had him for during training camp.
Derek Carr, at that time, was one of the better quarterbacks in the league, and pairing him with Antonio Brown, one of the best wide receivers of all time, was something that I believe the league wasn't ready for. Not to mention, they also had Josh Jacobs, Zay Jones, and Darren Waller on the team as well. So, they had weapons for Carr to go to.
But, obviously, without going into great detail, things with Brown did not work out. Simply put, there was a ton of drama, and the relationship he had with the team continued to be a mysterious one. The Raiders moved on without him, and Carr had a decent season, throwing for over 4,000 yards.
But that "what if" still lingers often. When Brown played for other teams after, like the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, there were obviously still issues about off-the-field things and drama overall, but Brown still hadn't lost a step.
That same offseason the Raiders were chosen to be the team to have HBO show up and film Hard Knocks. So, we got a first-hand look at everything. Carr, while things didn't work with Brown, had some great memories with him.
Now, it's a lot, and too much to type out, so just listen to how happy Carr sounds about his short, but good time with Brown during the offseason.
Carr truly liked Brown, and it seems like they had a good enough relationship to be an elite duo. But, things like this happen often, and it just didn't work out.
