The Tennessee Vols' biggest remaining 2025 recruiting target — five-star offensive tackle David Sanders Jr — is taking a very important visit this weekend.

Sanders is set to travel to Athens for an unofficial visit with the Georgia Bulldogs.

Georgia, along with Clemson and Ohio State, is one of the biggest threats to the Vols in the battle for Sanders.

Sanders, 6-foot-6/270 lbs from Charlotte, NC, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 2 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class. He's the type of talent that could be a future top 10 selection in the NFL draft.

The Vols will get an official visit from Sanders on June 14. The coveted offensive lineman is scheduled to return to Athens for an official visit on June 7. Alabama, Ohio State, and Clemson are also scheduled to receive official visits from Sanders.

Sanders is planning to announce his commitment in July or August according to 247Sports' Anna Adams

It's still too early to make any sort of prediction for who will secure a commitment from Sanders. We'll have a much better idea of the way this recruitment is trending after Sanders finishes his official visits. Until those official visits happen, it's just a guess as to where the five-star offensive lineman will land.
