Travis Kelce took part in the 15th annual Big Slick Celebrity Weekend charity fundraiser in Kansas City, Missouri this past week, and one celebrity came prepared.

During a skit, actor Jason Sudeikis asked Travis Kelce about when he is planning to take the next steps with Taylor Swift. Wearing a fake mustache, sunglasses and a cap, Sudeikis joked with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

“Hey Travis, real talk OK, just the guys here …” Sudeikis said. "“Hey … when are you going to make an honest woman out of her?."

Travis didn't respond to the question, but he had a big smile on his face. And in character for the skit, Sudeikis continued, also mentioning some very controversial comment made by Travis' teammate Harrison Butker.

“Taylor doesn’t need to be working anymore,” Sudeikis added. "I know your kicker agrees with me."

Jason Kelce also took issue with Harrison Butker's comments

Jason and Travis Kelce addressed Butker's comments on their "New Heights Show" podcast. And specifically, Jason mentioned that his wife, Kylie Kelce, was "frustrated" by what Butker said. While they respect others, he took a very different stance.

"I would say if my daughters listen to anybody tell them what to do, that they should be homemakers, then I failed as a dad," Jason said. "I don't care who's talking to them."

However, because of his stance, one user on X, formerly known as Twitter, directed a comment at him.

"Your wife is a homemaker. But you can't support Butker. And your wife is a homemaker whose home is a mess. Sorry but it is dirty and messy on television. Seems you're a bit hypocritical. Y'all are going to be left with nothing but swifties. You just ruined your gig. It's a shame," the user wrote.

Jason immediately came to his wife's defense.

"Responding to this, because I have seen a number of people say it. I don’t think of Kylie as a homemaker, I think of her as my wife. I think of her as a mother. She has an occupation, as do I, and we keep our house the best we can. Our marriage is a partnership, we are equals who are figuring it out on the daily," Jason wrote. "The only expectation is that we love each other, support one another, and are committed to our family, that comes first. We both raise our kids, we both work, We both keep our home. It is both our faults it is messy, but such is life with 3 young children, busy schedules, and neither of us being neat freaks. She also makes a mean sandwich."If being a homemaker, works for some, and that’s what they want, then hell yea, that’s awesome, more power to you. I want to be clear, I’m not downplaying that at all, but that is not our family dynamic."

How It All Began

Swift and Kelce's romance has truly become one of the greatest love stories and everyone is following it very closely. It all began when Kelce went to Swift's concert at Arrowhead Stadium in 2023, and even made a friendship bracelet for her.

He was very disappointed he couldn't give it to her, and his reaction on the New Heights podcast went viral. Clearly it caught Swift's attention. Rumors started flowing of a supposed romance and all of that was confirmed when she showed up to the Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears in late September.

From there, she continued to go to numerous games, watching Kelce and the Chiefs claim another Super Bowl championship. And then the tight end traveled around the world with her, watching her perform.

And on her most recent album, Swift has dedicated two songs to Kelce: "So High School" and "The Alchemy."

Specifically, she has added "So High School" to her setlist, and the entire performance on stage is dedicated to Kelce. She is sitting on bleachers, cheering for someone special… It's not hard to figure out who.
