The Tennessee Vols are among the top five schools for a talented wide receiver from the west coast.
2025 four-star wide receiver Marcus Harris revealed his top five schools on Monday evening and he included Tennessee, along with Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, and Texas.
Harris, 6-foot/180 lbs from Santa Ana, CA (he attends the same high school, Mater Dei, that current Vols wide receiver Bru McCoy attended), is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 17 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 13 player in the state of California.
The coveted recruit is set to take an official visit to Tennessee on June 7. He also has official visits scheduled for Georgia, Alabama, Oregon, and Texas.
Harris told On3 that he plans to announce his commitment before the start of his senior season.
“The offensive fit, relationships and how the coaches coach will be things important to me when I commit," said Harris to On3. "It will happen before my first game. That is the plan.”
Tennessee currently has seven players committed to its 2025 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 14 in the nation.
