Amid an interesting offseason, the New York Giants continue to do their homework at the quarterback position. Daniel Jones is expected by many to be the starter next season, but New York remains active in meeting with QB prospects ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Add another top prospect at the position to the list.
The Giants will meet with LSU QB Jayden Daniels for a top 30 visit on Monday, April, 15th.
Daniels is widely expected to go in the first three picks of the draft, so New York may have to move up if they wanted to go get him. It's doubtful he lasts until the Giants' sixth overall selection.
The former Tiger will also meet with the rival Washington Commanders on Monday. They pick second overall and are expected to take a QB.
If they prefer Daniels, there will be nothing the Giants can do to stop him from going to the nation's capital, considering Caleb Williams is heavily expected to go to the Chicago Bears at number one overall.
Regardless, New York continues to keep an eye out for a replacement plan for Daniel Jones.
