The NFL began allowing teams to use multiple helmets once again in 2023, which brought upon a uniform renaissance. We saw the likes of the Philadelphia Eagles bring back their iconic Kelly greens, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers dawned their creamsicle uniforms, and the Seattle Seahawks brought back their retro look with the silver helmet.

The NFL is now getting even more lenient with its once-strict uniform policy. According to Tom Pelissero, the league will now allow teams to have a third helmet in their uniform rotation.

Fans have long been clamoring for the Bills to use a secondary look, specifically their look from the 1990s with the red helmets. Buffalo could also utilize the red helmet with their uniforms from the 2000s, should that be an avenue they want to go down.

While the threads worn by the likes of Trent Edwards and J.P. Losman are considered eye-sores by many, others views them as so ugly that they are beautiful. Regardless, it would be good to see the Bills break out a throwback of some sort, as they have been largely basic with their uniforms.
