On Tuesday, ESPN's Chris Low published a terrific story on former Alabama head coach Nick Saban's first couple of months of retirement.
The story provides a detailed behind-the-scenes look at what Saban has been up to since announcing his retirement in January.
There's lots of golf and some hilarious anecdotes about Saban adjusting to life as a retiree.
And there's also a comment from his daughter, Kristen, about one thing that Saban likely won't be doing in retirement.
Don't expect to see the legendary head coach on social media anytime soon. Saban's daughter told ESPN there's "no chance" that we'll see her father posting Instagram selfies.
From ESPN: Kristen is confident her dad will continue to evolve and adapt in retirement, much as he did when he was coaching. But don't expect him to show up on social media.
"No chance," Kristen said, laughing. "People have said they want him on it, and I've said it's just not going to happen. He just learned to text and email. How's he going to tweet something?"
Kristen promises to post a few pictures of the retirement version of her dad from time to time on her social media accounts.
"But could you imagine him doing an Instagram selfie or something somewhere on the golf course?" she said. "We can hope, but it's not going to happen."
Maybe Saban will change his mind the deeper he gets into retirement — at least I hope he does.
I think we'd all love to see some candid moments from a head coach that was viewed by the public as someone who was wound tight, but privately has a great sense of humor and can even be described as "fun".
