The New York Giants have had some reported interest in quarterback prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft. There's plenty of pressure on Daniel Jones. It's tough to see the Giants taking a QB with their first pick, but a second-round quarterback may make plenty of sense for NY.
According to Jordan Schultz, the Giants had dinner with Washington QB Michael Penix Jr. after his Pro Day.
The Giants have showed interest in a multitude of QB prospects, but Penix is a legitimate candidate for them sometime in the selection process.
According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the Giants made sure they were present to see Drake Maye at the North Carolina Pro Day today, and sources told him the team is set to meet with Maye officially in the coming days. But Garafolo also made note of the fact that Giants' head coach Brian Daboll flew 3000 miles across the country to see Michael Penix Jr. at the Washington Pro Day today too.

Daboll wouldn't be going to these lengths if the organization did not have a solid amount of interest in the former Husky. There's no doubt that his ability to push the ball downfield and display veteran leadership means something to New York and other teams.
Penix is a good mover, too. He won't fly past defenders, but his athleticism is better than many QB prospects.
We will see if the Giants target Penix if they miss out on a QB in the top ten picks of this year's draft.
Giants add another proven playmaker to their defense
A useful addition.
