Wednesday was clearly a bittersweet day for Stefon Diggs. 

The wide receiver had to say goodbye to the Buffalo Bills after four seasons, after getting traded to the Houston Texans. And Diggs took a moment to say goodbye to the team that showed him so much love and support. 

"I can't begin to express the amount of love ad respect i have for the city of Buffalo ❤️💙. Four of the best years of my life, the city welcomed me with open arms. I'm forever grateful for you all and the @buffalobills organization ! Something special was built over these years with some very special men, that will always have a place in my heart. Billsmafia, so many great memories created throughout the years. Those games were crazy because of you. Sadly good things come to an end until we meet again ♾️1 14," Diggs wrote on Instagram. 

In return for Diggs, the Bills are getting a 2025 second-round pick, while also sending a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick to Houston along with the wide receiver. 

While Diggs time was a bit controversial due to his social media presence, specifically posting a tweet the day before the trade. saying Josh Allen didn't need a game-changing receiver to be great by writing "You sure?"

However, there is no denying that him and quarterback Josh Allen were an incredible duo. Throughout his four seasons with the Bills, Diggs finished with 445 receptions for 5,372 receiving yards and 37 touchdowns. 

He was also named to the Pro Bowl all four years. And his efforts on offense made him a clear favorite for Bills Mafia. 

So it's nice to see that he feels the same.
