The Tennessee Vols are one of the teams standing out early for a 2026 four-star cornerback from Ohio.
According to Rivals.com, Tennessee was one of the first teams to reach out to 2026 four-star cornerback Victor Singleton this past weekend when programs could begin contacting high school juniors.
From Rivals.com: The three-star cornerback is a prospect to know in the 2026 class. The Toledo (Ohio) Central Catholic standout told me that Indiana, Penn State, Nebraska, Toledo, Missouri and Tennessee were first to reach out to him over the weekend when schools could contact juniors.
Those schools reaching out showed which schools really want him. There are a few coaches that are standing out early in his recruitment. Keep an eye on the Buckeyes early in this recruitment.
Singleton, 6-foot/160 lbs from Toledo, OH (Central Catholic), is rated by 247Sports as the No. 4 cornerback in the nation and the No. 3 player in the state of Ohio. He's also rated as the No. 50 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.
The Ohio native was offered by Tennessee on May 28.
Singleton is expected to take an unofficial visit to Tennessee on June 23.
"I'm going to Missouri but I haven't got the date yet. I'm also visiting Wisconsin for a BBQ and Tennessee on the 23rd," said Singleton to 247Sports earlier this month.
Singleton is a player with five-star potential. He should see his recruitment ramp up significantly in the coming months.
Other programs will inevitably get into the mix for Singleton, but the fact that Tennessee showed early interest in the talented cornerback should ensure that the Vols remain a threat in this recruiting battle over the next year.
