A former Tennessee Vols assistant football coach was quick to congratulate the UT baseball team on Monday night after the Volunteers' win against the Texas A&M Aggies in game three of the College World Series.
Former Vols wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni sent a congrats tweet out just after the final out of Tennessee's championship-clinching win against the Aggies.
"I am so proud of this team! GO VOLS," tweeted Azzanni.
Azzanni served as Tennessee's wide receivers coach from 2013 to 2016 (he was also the passing game coordinator during his final two seasons in Knoxville), before leaving for the NFL ahead of the 2017 season.
The former Vols assistant is currently the Pittsburgh Steelers' wide receivers coach. And oddly enough, Azzanni will coach a couple of former Vols wide receivers this season in Pittsburgh in Cordarrelle Patterson and Marquez Callaway (Callaway was recruited to Tennessee by Azzanni).
Azzanni spent four years of his career at Tennessee and it's clear he still has plenty of love for the Vols.

What a night for the Volunteers
