By now, you've likely seen Tennessee Vols head coach Tony Vitello's rant after UT's win against Evansville on Sunday night in Knoxville.

If not, you can check it out below.

Vitello's rant, which has been praised universally by fans and media, was slightly reminiscent of Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy's epic "I'm a man, I'm 40" rant from 2007. Vitello wasn't as over the top as Gundy, but the message — taking up for players — was essentially the same.

Near the end of the press conference on Sunday, Vitello actually referenced Gundy's famous rant.

"It just bothered me that after a loss it's made worse, but you guys (media) have to do your job," said Vitello. "But I think it's more appropriate if that stuff comes at me. I'm not going to give you the Gundy line because I don't want to tell you my age, I guess, but just wanted to get that off my chest."

Vitello, by the way, is 45. I'm not sure that "I'm a man, I'm 45" would hit quite the same as Gundy's famous "I'm 40" line.

But either way, Vitello gained a lot of fans around the country on Sunday night thanks to the way he stood up for his players.
