The Tennessee Vols were included this week on what should be considered one of the best college football lists of the summer.
CBS Sports (via 247Sports' Brad Crawford) recently pointed out the 13 most unique experiences in college football and "Checker Neyland" made their list.
Checker Neyland started in 2014 when a fan-driven initiative led to Tennessee fans "checkering" Neyland Stadium for a game against the Florida Gators.
The tradition has continued over the years with fans checkering Neyland, usually, for one big game per season.
Rosters change and coaches come and go. It's the undying traditions of college football, however, that remain a constant in this sport. It's what makes the sport truly unique. You won't find things like Checker Neyland or Running Through the T in the NFL.
