Would Travis Kelce ever play for another team besides the Kansas City Chiefs?
One account seemed to suggest that the tight end actually said if a London team were to join the NFL he would be willing to make the switch.
But Kelce clearly saw this and needed to address the rumors.
"Let's be honest, I'd never leave the Chiefs… but playing in London sounds fun," Travis tweeted in response to a video posted on the New Heights account.
So Kelce isn't going anywhere.
But this seems to be a popular topic this past week, with Kelce also addressing it on the Bussin' with the Boys podcast on Tuesday.
“I don’t think that’s ever… It used to be, the original dream was to play for Cleveland. Cleveland kid, I used to love the sports town that I grew up in. It fueled all the sports love I have today, and I’m still on the side like, ‘go get them Browns.’ But I don’t think I could ever play for the Browns," Kelce said. " I just have so much love and appreciation for, especially if Coach Reid stays in KC, if Brett Veach, Patty Mahomes, the nucleus stays in KC, I don’t think I could ever leave the city.”
Travis at Wembley vs Taylor at Wembley
Both Kelce and Taylor Swift have had the unique opportunity of playing at Wembley Stadium in London.
For the tight end, it was back in 2015. But for Swift, it was just last weekend, and Kelce got to experience the singer's worldwide tour in front of 90,000 people in London.
Playing in front of 90,000 at Wembley Stadium. I remember 2015, playing in front of 80,000 at Wembley Stadium and then seeing Tay up there going crazy. They get a lot louder for Taylor than they do for American Football,” Travis said on the New Heights podcast this past week.
However, I guess you can say Kelce also did recently play at Wembley too. He joined Swift on stage during Night 3 of her stop in London, taking part in Swift's transition to her hit song, 'I Can Do It With A Broken Heart," from her newest album, The Tortured Poets Department.
Forget three-time Super Bowl champion, Kelce officially has something new to add to his resume: Taylor Swift's backup dancer.
Travis Kelce's Iconic Archer Pose
Travis Kelce has had his signature pose long before he began dating Taylor Swift.
Yet, Kelce's Archer pose goes hand in hand with Swift's song 'The Archer' from her album Lover.
So they honestly were soulmates when you look at this. And if there were any questions that Swift's song, 'So High School' was written about the Chiefs tight end, she silenced all that during her show on Friday night.
While performing this hit song from her album, The Tortured Poets Department, Swift did Kelce's signature Archer pose. And she couldn't keep the smile off her face as she did it.
And on night two, Kelce did it right back.
