The Houston Texans released a statement Sunday via social media letting fans know that second-year WR Tank Dell was one of ten victims in a shooting incident on Saturday. And he suffered what the Texans shared was a "minor wound."

Here's more information that has been given by Florida Today's piece on the incident:

"A 16-year old was arrested after the shooting of 10 people at an event in incorporated Sanford shortly after midnight Sunday morning, deputies told local media ."

"According to SCSO investigators, a verbal altercation escalated and the shooter shot 10 people before being apprehended by a security officer working at the venue. The victims suffered non-life-threatening wounds, mostly to the lower extremities, deputies said."

Thankfully, according to Florida Today's article, though ten people were wounded, none of the victims injured are considered to have sustained life-threatening injuries. That includes Dell, who has already been released from the hospital.

Dell has been working his way back from a season-ending fractured fibula injury he suffered last season. He's expected to be ready for the Texans' Training Camp this summer. We will update this piece accordingly if any additional information is released.
