The Los Angeles Chargers can go many different ways early in the first round. Tight end is a position that they may address quickly under new head coach Jim Harbaugh.

The Chargers reportedly met with Brock Bowers, the consensus top tight end in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Bowers was a dominant force during his time at Georgia. He totaled 175 receptions for 2,538 yards and 26 touchdowns. Bowers became the first two-time John Mackey Award winner, the title for the top TE in the country.

The balance to Bowers' game makes him a top-notch prospect at his position.

Not many tight ends possess impressive blocking skills alongside receiving skills that would be the class of many groups in the draft. His work after the catch is unlike most other TEs, too.

Gerald Everett is set to be a free agent, and the Chargers pick in the top ten. He is expected to be a top-20 selection. Bowers has been linked to Los Angeles quite often in recent weeks. We'll see if they choose to pick him in round one.
