A day after sending Buffalo Bills fans into a panic, offensive lineman Dion Dawkins advocated for the Bills to trade for Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins.

Dawkins, who signed a three-year extension with Buffalo on Monday after trolling the fan base via a Tweet that suggested he was leaving the Bills, joined Kay Adams on "Up & Adams" on Tuesday and he made it clear that he'd welcome Higgins to Orchard Park.

The former Temple standout also threw a little shade at the New York Jets while endorsing a potential deal for Higgins.

"Tee Higgins? Tee Higgins from the Bengals, right?" said Dawkins. "Yeah, we know that guy. First of all, it would definitely work. As long as we're not getting [any] Jets guys I'm good. Tee Higgins is a player that can help Josh (Allen) and help this team get to where we [want to go]….if they're talking about Tee Higgins, then Tee Higgins, come on over bro and let's get this thing done."

The Bengals placed the franchise tag on Higgins last week. On Monday, Higgins requested a trade as an extension with Cincinnati looks unlikely at this point (the Bengals just paid Joe Burrow and they're going to pay Ja'Marr Chase).

The rivalry between the Bills and the Bengals has blossomed into one of the best in the NFL in recent years. It would certainly be strange to see Higgins on the other side of that rivalry, but it sounds like Dawkins would welcome the former Clemson star with open arms.
