NASHVILLE — Legendary Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson is receiving an honor that will last forever.
On Thursday, Johnson was announced as a 2024 inductee into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame.
Johnson played with the Titans from 2008-2013, surpassing 1,000 rushing yards in every season with the team. In his Titans career, Johnson had 7,965 rushing yards and a famous 2,000 yard season in 2009.
It’s an absolutely deserved honor for Johnson. Johnson is one of three running backs, alongside Eddie George and Derrick Henry, who are synonymous with Tennessee Titans football. The organization would not be where it is today without him.
His name will always hold weight in Nashville and the state of Tennessee. It’s only right he be remembered forever in the Hall of Fame.
