It was hard for Bradley Bozeman to leave Charlotte.
Still, the NFL is a business, and it happened.
But on his way out the door, before signing a deal with the Los Angeles Chargers, the Bozeman family shared a heartfelt message to Carolina Panthers fans everywhere. It shows just how much the community meant to them on their journey.
"Fans turned to Friends turned to Family! Charlotte you will definitely be missed Thanks for inviting us in and showing us love," Bozemans wrote on X, the site formerly known as Twitter.
Bozeman was named the team’s nominee for the 2023 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award for his work in the community.
His time in Charlotte will be missed, but he is set to take on his latest challenge.
