The Jacksonville Jaguars have made their move on what they want to do with edge rusher Josh Allen. Well, kind of.

On Tuesday, the Jaguars franchise tagged Josh Allen, one of the best pass rushers in the league, which will have him playing with the Jaguars for at least one more year under the tag amount of $24 million.

However, the team has expressed interest in getting a long-term deal done if the numbers are right.

This means that Allen can now listen to what other teams have to say about his value starting on March 11. The Jaguars have the money to get a deal done but want to let Allen see what he could get from other teams.

Allen generated a career-high 96 pressures on the QB last year, the second most in the league behind Micah Parsons. He finished with 17.5 sacks and broke several franchise records in doing so.
