Patrick mahomes Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes being the best quarterback in the league is very common knowledge. You could even say that the Kansas City Chiefs having the best player in the league is very common knowledge, too.

However, some people are still ignorant of the fact that Mahomes is running the NFL. By being lucky, you don't get two MVPs, two Super Bowl wins, and an AFC Championship game appearance for every year you have been in the league.

Mahomes is the guy, and last season without Tyreek Hill only further proved that. However, one guy would still rather have a different quarterback.

Skip Bayless wouldn't take Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes

Yes, these debate shows are getting pretty annoying, as someone always says something they really don't believe because they know it will get eyes to watch and react. Skip Bayless of Undisputed on FS1 is that guy. He has been doing this to LeBron James for years, and now Mahomes the last few seasons.

Bayless is a certified hater.

On Undisputed, Bayless and Richard Sherman, a former NFL cornerback, were debating which quarterback they would rather have, Mahomes or Joe Burrow. Of course, Bayless went the Burrow route, and Sheman, who was once a Super Bowl rival, backed up Mahomes.

"This man has only been [starting] in the league for five years," Sherman started. In five years, he got 2 MVPs and 2 Super Bowl MVPs, and Joe Burrow has weapons – Burrow had a better defense last year. They were 6th in points. Mahomes' defense was 16th in points allowed. But it doesn't matter because you've got Patrick Mahomes… He's had a lot of guys [at wide receiver] you would not have picked on other guys."

Sherman was spitting facts. But we already knew everything he said. What he said next is what will only raise your respect level for Sherman.

"That Super Bowl breaks my heart to this day," Sherman continued. "We had the No. 1 defense in the land, and he went out there and threw strikes! He scored about 20 unanswered points…When he gets to the playoffs, he's a bad, bad, bad man."

Sherman is man enough to admit that Mahomes was destroying them in that Super Bowl when the fourth quarter rolled around. He wasn't salty or anything like that. In fact, he separated his bias and told it like it was.
