While the Pittsburgh Steelers will release their first injury report later this week, they have loose ends that need to be tied up.

We know a few players on the reserve and others that were released due to injury.

But there is some clarity needed when it comes to one of the best players on the team:

Cam Heyward.

Cameron Heyward: Questionable

While we have to wait to see the official injury designation Heyward receives this week, he is currently still listed as questionable with an undisclosed injury that forced him to miss the final game of the preseason, first reported by Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.

Hopefully, it was just a minor tweak, but we find more clarity later in the week.

James Daniels: Questionable

Perhaps the Steelers' best offensive lineman, right guard James Daniels also approaches week one with a questionable status after missing the final game of the preseason with an undisclosed injury, as reported by Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.

Once again, we will gain more clarity following Wednesday's first official injury report of 2023.
