The Philadelphia Eagles did not sign a few face to the punter position, instead, they called up Arryn Siposs from the practice squad.
Siposs is in his third year with Philadelphia and has yet to prove that he is reliable. Players from the practice squad can only be elevated three times, so the Eagles could ideally move on from him down the road, but are giving him another shot against the New England Patriots.
The Eagles also elevated punt returner Britain Covey from the practice squad. As a rookie last year, Covey averaged 9.3 yards per punt return.
Siposs and Covey can only be elevated two more times to the Eagles' active roster after Sunday.
The Eagles enter their Week 1 matchup vs. the Patriots with every player healthy on their 53-man roster.
