Calvin Ridley wasted no time scoring a touchdown on his new team.
In just his 2nd drive on the Jaguars, Calvin Ridley hauled in a wide-open touchdown in the left corner of the end-zone. Lawrence spun left out of a collapsing pocket and fired a bullet to his potential new favorite red zone target.
This is Calvin Ridley's first touchdown in 686 days. Ridley stepped away from the Falcons in 2021 to focus on his mental health. Following his leave of absence, Ridley was suspended for the entirety of the 2022 season for betting on NFL games.
In November of last season, the Jags traded two future, late-round draft picks to the Falcons to acquire Ridley.
Although Ridley was serving his season-long suspension and would not make an immediate impact when traded, the Jaguars were thinking long-term- and so far, it's paying off.
In Ridley's 2nd drive as a Jaguar, he hit paydirt.
One can imagine, there'll be plenty more touchdowns from 0.
