The Kansas City Chiefs and Chris Jones have finally ended their disagreement and have reached an agreement on a new contract. However, it isn't a long one.

Because Jones missed all of training camp and even the first week of the NFL season, he has racked up $3.6 million in fines. Not too long ago, Jones was tweeted at by someone saying he could lose a lot of money if he held out, and he responded that he "could afford it."

And he can.

On Monday, when he signed his new deal, he responded to a tweet about how much money he had lost in the perfect way.

The tweet read as follows:

"Chris Jones was fined nearly $2M for missing training camp and forfeited a $500,000 workout bonus, as well as a $1.1M game check for missing Week 1. That's about $3.6M gone. He ends up signing an updated 1 -year deal for this season, not a big extension. Will be interesting to see what he ended up doing."

Jones followed it up with, "Got it all back!"

Honestly, that is a flex if I have ever seen one.

Jones will be back in a Chiefs uniform this week; as he said, as soon as a deal gets done, he could play the next day. Expect to see him play against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
