The Buffalo Bills WR Gabe Davis is looking to take the league by storm this season.
Last year, Davis reportedly suffered from a nagging ankle injury that forced some members of the Bills Mafia to question if he was the team's answer at the number two WR position on the roster.
When healthy, Davis is a difference-maker for the offense and has been absolutely balling out in camp. In fact, even in the preseason, Davis is finding a way to make his presence felt even on plays that don't count.
His ability to catch anything and everything on the sideline for a miraculous catch has been a constant throughout his short career in Buffalo. I mean come on, look at this. Come for the unreal Josh Allen throw, stay for Davis' insane ability to haul in the catch.
Outside of his football abilities, Davis is making a huge impact on the community, one member of the Bills Mafia at a time. For these players, they understand that the fanbase is more than just a fanbase, they are the lifeblood of the organization and love the team like a family.
With this understanding, it makes Davis' act even more powerful. Reportedly, a young member of the Bills Mafia battling with cancer gave Davis an orange wristband. While we aren't sure of the timeline, it appears to be during the team's training camp in Rochester NY.
While it's unclear if Davis wore this in their most recent contest, you can see the orange band visible during camp with his impressive catch from Josh Allen.
I previously wrote about how the team needed to extend Gabe Davis yesterday, which was purely from his on-field abilities. Now, I am asking once again asking the front office to extend Davis but this time for what he's able to do off the field.
An incredible act that cannot be overstated.
The Buffalo Bills need to extend WR Gabe Davis yesterday
The Buffalo Bills’ general manager, Brandon Beane, could make one of the biggest offseason moves without bringing a single player in.
